
I think this is why the
Microsoft Corporation has announced that it has decided to stop further developments on the IE internet site browser for the competing Mac platform. The Microsoft people have told reporters that this is due to the competition it continuously has to face with the Safari internet site browser. The Safari is a browser developed by the Apple Corporation for their Mac platform, but certain modifications have also been done on this browser that it can now be used on other platforms as well. But, Microsoft officials have also stated that it would continue to provide functional security upgrades along with a few performance updates here and there for its IE browser on the competing Mac platform. Yet, Microsoft has no plans whatsoever for a new full version of their IE browser specifically designed to run on the competitor's platform since they have told reporters that Mac users are better off with the Safari than what they have to offer with their IE browser.
